IT’S TIME AGAIN

Many say, “Time feels like it has sped up! It is flying by. I open the curtains in the morning and the next thing I know I am closing them at night.” What do we do with our precious minutes, hours and days? The answer will vary depending on who we are, and where we are in life. However, today is a great day to grow. It is our choice to choose what area we want to focus our energy on, financially, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. When we create the best environment possible to spend our time, we also provide space for new growth while expanding our horizon.

Feeling anxious? Want to run? Holding on…

There are moments in life when we need to slow down and listen. In the multitude of counselors there is safety. We have seen our world turned upside down with horrific tragedies all around us. During this somewhat forced sabbatical, some view it as a frightening experience. Others see it as a gift to finally be able to slow down and re-evaluate their priorities. Some take time to contemplate and take inventory of their personal lives. It is up to us if we willingly comply, or bolt after being indoors for a few days.

I encourage you to remember we are in power of our own lives. We can be in agreement with those in authority, or chose to go the opposite direction. Being wise at this time and following the protocol set before us may help ourselves, loved ones, and others. We all hope for a great outcome. When we have freedom to travel and work once again, let’s celebrate our liberty with a new appreciation.

Uncertainty Isn’t Always Bad

At times things seem so unusual that we need to stop and take a second look. We might ask ourselves, “What is that all about?” We may never find the answers to some of our questions. Being uncertain about the times we live in, we can rest assured that things will change again. Acceptance during the times of uncertainty opens our awareness to things that are unfamiliar. We can celebrate our new experiences, knowing they too will bring uncertainty and change as life is continually evolving.

Reflections of the Heart

AS IN WATER FACE REVEALS FACE, SO MAN’S HEART REVEALS THE MAN

How often do we look at what is in our heart? Are we trying to deny or even ignore what we see? Truly, no other can know what is in the heart of man. When we take time to stop and listen to what our heart is really saying, what do we hear? Are we at peace or at war within ourselves? Are we free to follow our hearts desire or cry? If we are not, why? This may be difficult to answer.

When we acknowledge what we really ‘know within’, line up in agreement, we can reflect our light and love to others, walking in our genuine and authentic life. Finally, we may find what we have been looking for our entire lives, true inner peace and joy.

Light Brings Light

LIGHT BRINGS LIGHT

Even a little candle can bring light to a matter. At times we all need more light shed on a subject before making an informed decision or a good choice. Are we willing to slow down and take a closer look at the whole picture before jumping to conclusions, or getting in over our head?

When a room is well lit, we will find it is less likely we will stumble over the furniture. In addition, when our minds are enlightened, we are less likely to fall into dangerous traps or step on obvious mind fields.

In this day and age people are instructed to get prepared for emergencies. It is vitally important to have available anything that will light up the darkness. May it be the darkness of the night, or darkness of the mind and soul, Light will always bring Light. This is an area we need to be stocked up on at all times. Perhaps now a good time to check your own light supply.

Open or Shut Gate?

When we arrive  at a place in our lives where we desire change, we have to ask ourselves if we are willing to leave the familiar to go into the unknown? As we approach visible, or invisible (subconcious) gates in our lives, are we willing to push past them, to open the gate and walk through it to the other side? If we truly want to experience something different in our lives, we  have to be willing to do something different. The choice is ultimately ours. I am heading toward the open gate! Are you?
