Titles reveal the stories within

Happiness is being able to smile even after a bad hair cut as long as I have a good book to read!

I am a firm believer in having a variety of books on hand. I am thankful I have a huge library to enjoy. It is wonderful to be able to go to the shelf and pick something I need when I want to be entertained, or if I desire spiritual growth, want to be creative and artistic, or perhaps de-clutter and get organized.
Looking around at what some would say is a messy study, I see potential everywhere. There are so many stories in the making; even as I am just reading the titles of books I already have new ideas.

At the spur of the moment, I decided I will take a few minutes and challenge myself. I will write new thoughts using the words from titles of books I see around me at this moment. The rules, there are no rules! I get to make up the rules as I go along. I can keep the titles just as they are or mix them up as this new writing adventure begins.

“Coaching the Artist Within”, using “Little Voice Mastery”, I can “Get Out Of Your (my) Own Way” although I find it can be difficult at times. Using the “Power of Focus in Women”, I will enjoy my “Life, Paint and Passion” as I “Rework” my business. It is awesome to study, “The Organized Mind” and “The Owner’s Manual for the Brain” to learn that we can “Change Our Brain/ Change Our Life”. Reading “Memory Power Plus” is sure to remind me of the things I learned even from this silly little exercise. I used ten titles to accomplish my goal.

I challenge others to join me and take time to observe their surroundings, and then write what was visualized. It is totally OK to take random thoughts, observations, or as in this case, a few book titles tied together while creating a new writing project. The amazing thing many people find out is that this exercise is not about writing; it is about what gets revealed while writing which is always the true surprise.
